Welcome in!

I’m a self-taught artist, children’s book author/illustrator and former elementary school teacher who finds inspiration in the beauty of the natural world and the simple moments that often go unnoticed. Growing up in upstate New York gave me a lifelong appreciation for nature, and that early connection continues to inspire my work today.
I create in watercolor, acrylic, and mixed media, drawn to the colors, textures, and quiet moments that invite us to slow down and notice the beauty that surrounds us.

I have had the pleasure of sharing my art In juried exhibitions throughout New York, as well as in New Orleans, and most recently in Marseille, France.

More about my artistic journey…
Being an artist has become much more than a creative practice for me. It quiets the constant stream of everyday thoughts and worries, helping me feel grounded, present, and filled with joy. It’s a place where I find peace, and it’s an experience I hope others discover as well.
Whether I’m painting, creating mixed-media pieces, or leading workshops, my goal is the same: to encourage people to slow down, embrace the creative process, and reconnect with the beauty that surrounds them. I believe art isn’t about perfection—it’s about noticing, exploring, and finding moments of peace and gratitude along the way.
Thanks for being here.
